Sunday Setlists #36

Even though I normally attend church on Saturday night, this worship re-cap is part of the Sunday Setlist Blog Carnival Extravaganza going on over at FredMckinnon.com.  Check out the other worship service re-caps from this week by clicking here.

Well, today is another new experience for me.  Due to a sick wife and child, I am attending my church via the internet campus today, so I’m actually writing the setlist as it is happening.

Call to Worship / Opening Set:

  1. Salvation is Here (Hillsong United)
  2. My Savior Lives (Despiration Band)

Message:

Today, Pastor Greg is continuing a series started last week titled “Found”.  Last weeks message (since I didn’t blog about it last week) was about “The Language of the Search”, and how our role is to be immersed in today’s society without being changed by it (like Jesus did).  Awesome message.  You can hear it here.

Today’s service is about “The Search”.  God is relentless in his search for the lost.  We should have the same attitude.  The church’s main mission is not to serve the saved, but to continue Jesus’ mission for seeking the lost…very challenging!

Closing Set:

  1. One Pure and Holy Passion (Mark Altrogge)
  2. Mighty to Save (Hillsong)
  3. We Shine (Fee)

How was your weekend service?
